Hi guys the wife bought me a Tomtom One for christmas. We are off to France in June. Does anyone know if downloads are available to input France onto the Tomtom One.

If you go to the Tom-Tom web site you can buy and download any map of Europe,

I have had my tom-tom 500 for over 1yr now and i must say i love it,it hasent let me down yet,

Hi,

Yes I did this before my trip to france last year. There are two ways.

The easiest is to buy a new SD card with france on it from Tomtom. When you get off the ferry simply swap the cards and away you go.

The second option (what I did) is to download the France map from the tomtom web site. This is slighly cheaper but it will not fit on your existing SD card. You need to buy a new bigger SD card (512mb) but these are really cheap on the net these days. Then you can put both your GB and france map on the same card. (When you buy France you also get the major roads of western europe). This option also gives you more room for voices, POI's etc.

Just to let you know i contacted this chap who sorted out my Tom Tom 510 not only did i get france very detailed map, i brought Spain and Portugal USA

just ordered the very lastest map of uk and ireland + WE so we can find all the new roads our oldish map would not

he also put in speed cam warnings that talked to me and 20megs of poi's so we can find any camping site and supermarkets
