too cold in Brittany?

Hello! I was thinking about going to southern Brittany next summer, but am not sure about the weather. From peoples experiences, is the weather too similar to here? I don't want too hot as small children don't like it. Thanks.
 
We have always had good weather in May / June in southern Brittany although I am told that it deteriorated later this year.Once you get below the Brest peninsula things get better.Now why does that ring a bell !!
 
Sian, this is difficult to answer, as of course the weather can change from year to year. I stayed at Le Baule a few years ago and the weather was great, temperatures in high 20's. I don't think it gets really hot unless exceptional like 2003. It can rain, same as it does all over Europe.
