Hi,

What superb customer service is given by Powrtouch!

I recently phoned them with a problem regarding my mover,a pin had broken in the mechanism (self inflicted) they said they would send out a technician to fix it, however I said if it was a diy job I could most likely do it myself. I phoned about 3.30 pm and the pin + 2 spares duly arrived the next morning.

The person on the phone talked me through the job in great detail and it was completed in about 15 Min's.

The next problem was a stuck brush in the motor.I phoned at 10.30 and explained that I was going on holiday the next day,The person said if possible he would get a technician to me the same day failing that he would arrange for somebody to come to the site and fix it. About a 1 hour later I got a phone call to say a technician would be with me mid after-noon.

The technician phoned to say he was on his way and completed the repair in about 25 Min's and if I did have another problem with the brushes they would fit a complete new motor Assembly.

What a superb service is given, and what a truly professional set up Powrtouch are. The 5 Year guarantee does what it Say's, absolutely no quibble.

Regards Nidge

They are a superb company, we have had two powertouch movers one a single axle then a twin axle version both faultless and the single axle version is still working on my sisters van after we fitted it when i sold my van. whenever we called the customer service for advice or consumable parts they where first class and allways very polite. it is such a shame that campbells in preston who we bought our latest van from dont supply the powertouch so we ended up with a reich which although reasonable is not a patch on the powertouch, its slower lower and more fidgety on start up and more expensive.

Hi Icemaker,

Totally agree with your comments, however I am a bit baffled why you could not have dealt direct with Powrtouch to supply and fit your mover, or was it a case of a good discount having the Reich fitted by Campbells?,
