Seeing as our friends are currently ‘between motorhomes’ (IE, they don’t have one at the moment) but we have a touring caravan, has anyone any recommendations for a site that has touring pitches AND pods in North Yorkshire please?
Thanks!

Try Lakeside Holiday Park on (and part of) the Castle Howard estate between York and Malton. They don't have glamping but the do have holiday cottages. What is more - at this time of the year at least - £20pn for van+2 on hard standing and including electrickery is a fantastic bargain!

Hutton le hole caravan park is very nice and close to the village with a track along to the attractive village. Don’t have glamping pods but do have three glamping bell tents and lodges. . We stayed in a nearby CL in Center of village in May 2021 and had a walk around the caravan site. Very nice.

Also Rosedale Abbey Caravan Park takes tourers and has pods.

PS the Woosies stayed in one near Pickering and I’m sure it had statics for hire. A Woosie will advise I’m sure.

This is the one Clive had in mind

Not pods but pretty good statics or lodges. They no longer allow groups of friends so no longer a Woosie acceptable location.

This is one of my favourite sites in that area. Fully serviced hard-standing or grass touring pitches but, no showers or loos. It also has two shepherd's huts.
You do have to drive everywhere but, the Park & Ride into York is only four miles away and it's a perfect base to explore from.
We love it there for the peace and quiet.
