Tow ball on car

Hi

I know this has been covered before but I haven't got time to search. Going away on Friday - have an alko hitch.

There's a couple of rust marks on the tow ball on the car - what do I use to file it off? and then is it a case of wiping over with white spirits or something?

I find the best thing to use a sanding sponge which shapes itself around the ball. Then wipe with some white spirit or thinners using a clean rag. Please don't use a file!
 
If your house/caravan is running like it should the said room should also contain a woman, as well as the equipment mentioned above.
