None if you have a hitch stabiliser built in(AlKo 2004, 3004 etc)

If you have the old type coupling then LM grease is the one to use.
 
On the theme of towballs I notice that sometimes I dont quite get a clean connection twix van and car and I score the towball - how does this affect the AKS stabilizer ? does this mean that is not now as efficient because of scoring on the ball.
