Tow bar for a Ford Galaxy Help

i am looking to purchase a touring caravan in the next 2 weeks, but my ford galaxy 1.9tdi does not have a tow bar, what do i need as requirments or recomendations, any advise would be greatly appreciated, especially from Galaxy drivers

We have a VW Sharan which is essentially the same car just speced different and the bars are all interchangeable between Ford, Seat, VW however and it's a big one the design of the bar is very different from maker to maker for instance the Witter, Brink, Bosal designs are all different and some require an ugly cut of you bumper.

After much research and chatting with our independent towbar fitter we went for a bar made by PCT - a very good piece of British engineering which doesn't require you car to have it's bumper mutilated. Highly recommended

The Galaxy has a button, which switches off the reversing sensor. It's still a pain, but my wife and kids soon learned the knack of pressing it, once it got on their nerves!

The Galaxy is a brilliant towcar - especially once the towbar is fitted!!!! I've had three so far (and am awaiting delivery of the fourth - the "new" Galaxy) and none has had to have a cut to the bumper.
