Tow Car Alhambra

I intend to buy a Bailey Wyoming with a MTPLM of 1714Kg.

Will I be OK with the 1.9 TDI (115) Diesel, Stylance Tiptronic? The reason I ask is that the Seat specs downloaded from the internet say that the kerbweight is 2430Kg & Max towing with brake 1831Kg, whereas the brochure specs for 2006 state Kerb weight Stylance Tiptronic 1831Kg, Max towing with brake 2000Kg. No wonder I am confused. Can anyone out there HELP?

The figure of 1831kg is certainly the kerbweight and not the maximum permissible towload. Maximum towload is 2000kg. The 2430kg figure in the SEAT spec is probably the maximum GVW.

I too noticed Seat's typo error. They do quote 2430 kg as the kerb weight but this CANNOT be true. Just look at kerb weights of the equivalent VW Sharan or Ford Galaxy.
