Hi Professor, I do appreciate the problem that whatever weight a car is it will always be too heavy or light for some people. I have a friend with the Nissan although he does not tow with it and it is a nice car. It can tow a few more caravans than last years winner and to me is just about heavy enough to get the nod. I do however feel that the winner should be a good all round tow car that can tow a good selection of caravans which tends to mean something over 1500kg.
If costs and value for money are taken into account then versatility could also be although once passed 1500 on a lesser scale than below it.
