tow hitch question

I hope someone can answer this one...

Tomorrow I need to tow a twin axle trailer with a normal hitch, I have an alco ball on my car (For caravan) is this ball ok for use with the older style hitch. I do hope so.

Yes, just make sure you grease the towball.
