Towbar For Nissan X Trail To Suit 2006 Swift Charisma 570

Hi There,

Could anyone advise on what towbar is best suited for X Trail to suit a 2006 Swift Charisma 570 with an AL-KO AKS 3004 Stabiliser. Also which detachable towbar is best suited.

Thanks

I have used a Witter and a Brink (which is the same as Towsure) and they both did the job OK

There doesn't seem to be any data as to actual tow ball heights for different makes but I felt that the Witter was slightly higher but then they changed the bumper after the facelift.

Sorry haven't tried the detachble which I was glad about when I reversed into a tree !!!

With the bolt on ball you need the Alko ball but detachable and swan neck are all OK

I have an Aug 06 X-Trail plus Senator Oklahoma S5 with the AKS 3004 hitch. The X-Trail has the 'factory-fit' swan neck tow bar and the height etc is OK. The car's rear door opens without fouling on the hitch.
