Are there any other towbar manufacturers other than Witter that anyone can recommend to me, as witter dont make a towbar for my car & the manufacturers one costs £300.

Hi Duncan,there are plenty of manufactures about but you fail to specify what vehicle you have,if its a grey import try somwhere like PCT or towbars direct, They deaql with many companies.
 
towbars for cars made after 1998 all have to pass the same eu test so these days buy on price, towsure at sheffield are very competitive

Try looking in the Yellow Pages for a specialist towbar fitter - they're generally a lot cheaper than Car Dealers, and use the best make of bar for your car. Phone round and get several quotes. Our fitter used a Bosal detachable for our car - about half the price the dealer quoted!
