Towcar hire

Because our main car is currently unsuitable for towing and isn't changed until August, we will have a 2 month period (June and July) when we'll have a caravan we can't tow. Does anyone know of companies that hire vehicles with tow hitches?

Hi. When my pickup was damaged in November, my insurance company gave me a courtesy car with a tow bar, which I requested. It was from a company called Specialist Vehicle Hire on 02392739911. Ok it is in Portsmouth, but they have branches all over, from what I understood at the time.

Chris, I looked into this about 4 years ago before I took delivery of my new car and the only vehicles that I could find to rent, with a towball, were 4x4s. The daily cost then was around

Don't know where you are, but S and B car hire down at Sittingbourne in Kent have some hire vehicles with Towbars.

Hi,

I was thinking of selling my large 4x4 and getting something more ECO friendly and putting my van on a seasonal pitch and hiring a tow car when we go on our two two week holidays ayear has anyone or know of anyone who has done this.
