Towcar - Isuzu Trooper

Hello

I was thinking of changing my towcar to an Isuzu Trooper 3.2 Citation Automatic (1997). I wondered if anyone had any experience/views on this car ?

I've had my 3.5 automatic for almost 5 years now and never had a better towcar. I guess the 3.2 won't be significantly worse.

I have a X reg Trooper Citation Auto which we tow a Compas Omega 524 with.

I have never had any problems with it, in fact you have to be carefull to remember that the van is behind. Fuel use without towing 30mpg with towing 28mpg. I wish that they were still makeing this version of Trooper because I would buy a new one now.

ditto duncan and lutz. we pull a 1600kg twin with our 3.5, you wouldnt know its there. best 4x4 and best towcar ive ever had.
