We have a Elddis Queensferry and would like to know if the Vauxhall Zafira 2.0 diesel will pull it.Anyone help as every one seems to differ on opinions
 
You don't say which model of Elddis Queensferry you have but the maximum towload permitted for that particular Zafira is 1050kg.
 
Just checked the weights of the Queensferry and found out that ony the smallest one (the 362) would, with an MTPLM of 1075kg, just be within the towing capability of a Zafira 2.0 diesel. All others exceed the limit, with the exception of the 475 even when unladen.
 
I tow a 1000kg 4.7 metre van with a Zafira 2.0 DTI. It is a fine tow car just a pity it is saddled with the 1050kg limit which does not make sense as the 2.2 petrol is allowed 1500 kg.
 
i had the same problem,if youve not alreadybought zafira,consider the new scenic 1.9,same layout as zafira,much more torque,120 bhp,and 1300 kg towing capacity.....tows my bailey champayne no problem
