Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone uses a Volvo XC90 to two with, and if so what towing mirrors do you use?

I currently have a set made by pyramid that have two screw down threads on the top and two rubber straps that's go around the back of the mirror (these mirrors were find on my other tow cars) but the problem I find is that due to the design of the Volvo wing mirror. When I fit the towing mirror(s) the screw down parts nearly separates the mirror surround from the rest of the mirror, plus the little plastics lugs do not seem to fit very well between the mirror glass and the surround (I am hoping that this all makes sense)

We use the mirrors specially made by Volvo. We tow with a V70XC AWD, our latest Volvo (having owned several previous models). Never had any trouble, even with on-coming lorries! Check out the price at your local dealership.

The Volvo ones for the XC90 fit on the front wing and lock under the bonnet - is this the style that you use, and if so how easy are they to use

HI William

I just got two new towing mirrors they do look like they would fit most sort of car or 4x4 as well. They do give a good v of the caravan when tow.

cut and past this to have a look.

Thanks Mark,

I'm out and about today, so I call into Halfords for a look, did not really think about them for mirrors.

Hi William

Yes, the Volvo mirrors we use are the ones that clip onto the inside of the bonnet lid and under the wheel arch, on each side. They are very solid and the mirrors themselves are quite large, allowing more visability to the rear. They don't fly back either with oncoming traffic which is a bonus. Proprably a bit expensive but well worth it in the end.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you need any more info.
