Can anyone help regarding the maximum towing capacity suitable for this vehicle

The recommendation for new caravanners is to tow no more than 85% of kerb weight (1145 kg in your case) and only up to 100% for experienced towers. The reason being that a caravan is high sided and easily affected by winds and overtaking vehicles. The car's max tow is calculated on the ability to pull away with a flat trailer up an incline of 12% at sea level.
