We will be towing through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark and Sweden this May/June. Any tips on towing these countries would be of great help in terms of EHU, water connections etc; Thank you

Keep the white line on the passenger side was a snippet given to me prior to our first foray into Europe. The Caravan and Motorhome Club do excellent touring guides. They contain details of campsites, tolls, hook up variations, driving laws, and lots more. Don’t know if Sweden is covered but the other nations are. Plan your routes and have back up hard copy as sometimes in cities satnav goes duff if there are high buildings. Take your spare wheel off its Alko carrier if fitted, and carry inside caravan. Much safer should it have to be used.

Gas bottle connections are different from UK ones. Also In France when you see a sign that says "Radar installed for you security........" its NOT, its a speed camera so stick to speed limit., also check your car if petrol ,can accept the cheaper fuel as its got ethanol in it which can upset older engines. Other than that enjoy the smooth roads ( and good weather)

You can buy converters for EHU and water on Amazon and eBay. You may not need them but worth carrying. I also took one of the water hose screw up ones with a jubilee clip as that works if all else fails. Worth checking the distance to the EHU hook up on the sites you choose as some are farther than you might expect in the UK. If you join 2 EHU cables you can buy a weatherproof cover for the join.
