Have just purchased our 1st caravan - Swift Accord 500 1450Kgs. Has anybody had any experience of towing a similar size caravan with this car? Any info would be much appreciated.

No experience, but like so many Renault's, the maximum permissible gross train weight can be a real stumbling block. The Renault website quotes a max. gross train weight of 3200kg. If the caravan weighs 1450kg, that leaves 1750kg for the car. Based on the quoted kerbweight of 1430kg, there are only 320kg left for passengers and payload. This could be tight for, say, a family of four with all their luggage.
