Towing with s-max

Just done the first tow with our new s max tdci 2.ltr. Although we got the car in august we have only just managed to tow due to our caravan swift challenger 530 on a seasonal pitch. My hubby was over the moon with how it handled the caravan, it was hard to feel the caravan on the back it was so smooth. We even overtook a car on Ruallt hill north wales. Our previous car struggled with that brew so u can imagine our delight when it toured up there no problem. It,s the best tow car we.ve had and towed the caravan like a dream. Would defo recommend it to others .

they are a great towcar.have had my 2.0 tdci auto since may 08.get 27 mpg towing and up to 50 solo.no faults to date touch wood,never had to top oil or water up yet.i will go and have a lie down now,your blue text has done my eyes in

Glad you enjoy yr s-max we are towing the caravan again next week, caravan going into be serviced in Leyland, Lancs. Cant wait start touring again. Roll on March.

we changed our caravan a couple of weeks ago but wont be using new one until may.we have booked a couple of weeks at perran sands in cornwall.have you looked in on the smaxownersclub.com .very friendly bunch and lots of usefull information on there.dont be put off with the problems people are posting about as most people only post when they have a problem,and dont post when they dont.they have well in the excess of 20.000 members and if everybody posted how well their s max`s are it would look a lot better
