I have been dealing with Towsure for a number of years now and to be fair I have never hasd a problem, that is until now.

I recently ordered a Shurflow Pump Trail King 7 (16psi).

It stated in the description that,

"Barbed hose connector and side inlet strainer supplied".

Wrong! it does not come with the strainer. Having contacted Towsure to explain the descrepency, they said it does not now come with a strainer,but were not prepaired to do anything about it, except to offer a full refund. I did explain that I still needed the pump but also a strainer which i have now purchased from another source. Towsure did not offer to pay for the strainer o to provide a source for obtaining one or even an appology, nor have they bothered to answer my emails. ( Today 14/8/06 the description has been ammended.) My question is, has anybody else found the Towsure customer service deteriorating, or am I doing them an injustice.

Frankly, pretty poor ....

I find that there delivery is awful too. I recently ordered some goods from them and paid extra for the rapid delivery. It still took them a week to despatch.

Les, I deal with Towsure regularly and find their service good. I recently ordered a wheel clamp from their web site but made a mistake in the tyre /wheel size. I took it to their Southampton store and exchangd it for a different make which was cheaper and got an immediate refund of the difference.

I wonder if you ordered your part of the web and have been dealing with their phone help line? In my above scenario they told me that I could return the wheel clamp to the store and they would take it "in stock", inform the web supplier department who would reimburse me at a later date. As explained that didn't happen I got immediate reimbursement at the store.

I think the stores are much more on the ball than the web order line and central help line .

I have come away from ordering things from Towsure as only half the stuff turned up there were alway queries with it. So I have gone to Riversway Leisure, far better service. They even text you the day before the delivery is going to arrive. I also made an order and left something off by mistake i just rang them up and they added it to the order - no hassle at all. I would be certainly using them again

Give them a ring on 0114 2503045 with your problem,I dont know your e.m,ail address but with my aol account towsure are unable to reply,but I put my phone no on the email enquiry and the customer services/tech help rang me to sort out my problem.It may be they have the same gtrouble with your e.mail as mine.Good luck with your query
