Towsure Ultima porch Awning or Sun camp

Can anyone give me feed back on either of these awnings as i am thinking of purchasing one or tother

I think that SunnCamp make the Ultima, not sure what the Towsure version is called.

We've owned the smaller versions, the tent type with the poles outside the awning.

The Sunncamp awning that we bought was the better product with thicker support poles and better quality material. The most marked difference was in the seam which slides into the awning channel, the Sunncamp seam was woven material which slides in easily whereas the seam on the Towsure awning is made of a plastic material which tends to stick.

Having said all of that the Towsure awning which we still have does the job and is much cheaper. The Towsure awning withstood the snow in February with no problems

Have just bought the 2010 Sunncamp 260 Ultima.

Bit on the heavy side compared to our last porch but stood up to wind and rain no bother - sides do not slap against caravan in the wind.

check out the Kampa vista XL----A bit more expensive but a very good porch awning
