Due to replace car and am likely to opt for Avensis 2.0 D4D. Can someone confirm noseweight limit is 75kg and also any views on the Avensis as a towcar would be appreciated.
 
Hello Martin. It would be unwise to rely upon the accuracy of information garnerd from listings such as these, especially where a statuory requirements exsists such as in load limits. Always check with the manufacture. Quoting this bulitin board if you are accused of over-loading would not be a defence.
 
Martin - in the towcar section, Practical Caravan for January says the Avensis 2.0 D-4D has a nose weight limit of 52kgs and a a max tow weight of 1300kgs ie it would seem useless as a towcar! Graham
