With reference to a letter in the advice page in the October issue of Practical Caravan .I also, using towsure guidlines was advised a kerbweight of 1275kg for a 2003 GX 2.0 diesel.On the advice of this forum I had it weighed on a public weighbridge which gave 1520kg.I hope the writer of the letter in the magazine sees my post and gets his Rav4 weighed it might be to his advantage.
 
Like I have always said, I have yet to come across a car which does not actually weigh more than data published in brochures, etc.
