Toys R Us

If any of you have children/grandchildren with birthdays coming up or you just want to treat them, I would highly recommend getting down to your local Toys R Us.
As you may know, the company is in receivership and there are bargains at up to 70% discount available. There is plenty of stock but I dont know for how long.
Today for our grandkids, a Scalextric, £99.99 for £28, a sprung cot mattress, 89.99 for £26 and a Baby Einstein Bouncer again 89.99 for £34. Altogether we spent well over £300 for £109.
Well worth a visit.

My Grandson loves Lego.
The Swindon store two weeks had no Lego. All moved by the liquidators to a separate bid , commercial of course. But yes there are still some bargains.
Great shame about the staff who are now redundant.

On our local news tonight, final close down for Derby is April 24th. Assume rest of the branches are the same.

I thought that they had all closed down, are there some still open?
No Clive, Toys R Us went bankrupt.
The person that you responded to didn't know either, but that's because that 'newbie' doesn't live in the UK or even in Europe.
