We have seen an old touring van about 12ft and did not recognise it. the only marking was the name 'Trail 104'

Does anyone know this van please? Trail 104 is a famous route in The USA is all the reference we can find on the web. If this is a rare van then we may try to buy and renovate. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Mustang built the Trail range - model number gives length and berths - in this case a 10' 4-berth.

Mustang stopped making caravans ages ago.

Mustang Trail is the one and Mustng built these caravans from 1978 till around 1983-the company went bust in 1984. Trail was their mid range built on Al-kO chassis. they were light in weight. Not many left now - build wasnt the best - Mustang set up in late 1970 (ex-Abbey people and also founders of Auto-trail motorhomes. If you go for it you may find its pretty damp and beyond saving so do check it out.
