Does anyone know what legal requirements there are for braked trailers in order for them to be deemed road worthy, with special reference to the breakaway cable condition?
I'd just like to add that to be roadworthy, the breakaway cable must obviously be in a condition that it's capable of doing the job that it's supposed to. One would have to have serious doubts if it's frayed in any way or if the fittings at each end are bent or corroded.
