Help me please!!

We've just bought a 2002 Trio mini porch awning complete with 'easy' alloy poles. Unfortunately we have no instructions and have no idea where to start. Do have a full awning but this porch seem to have loads more poles none of which are labeled!! Does anyone out there have instructions for this or any similar porch that may help us?

Thank you

Jools

Try the Trio website which might be helpful:

www.triosport.com

Or you could email them:

msanders.mdc@trigano.fr

Failing that there is always the telephone:

Tel/Fax: 02476 641524

Hope this is helpful.

We have the trio Porch awning and have only used it once a couple of years ago. Felt that the full awning was just as easy to put up!

anyway, I made up instructions for myself as the Trio instructions were poor. here it is, hope it helps;

ERECTING TRIO PORCH AWNING

1. Guide canvas through awning rail and set in correct position.

2. Make up LH and RH rafters.

3. Hook RH (door side) rafter into bracket pad and feed front through hole in canvas.

4. Insert RH leg and raise.

5. Move to LH side and repeat 2, 3 and 4.

6. Insert front roof cross pole.

7. Insert rear roof cross pole.

8. Insert two short canopy pieces at front.

9. Feed the canopy cross pole through pocket and locate on hooks on short pieces.

10. Fit rear support poles.

11. Tension all round.

12. Peg rear corners then front corners temporarily.

13. Zip in the removable front section.

14. Fully tension and peg out.

15. Fine-tune the pegging.

16. Peg mud wall.

17. Fit verandah pole.

18. Fit plastic rust protectors.

Hi Ann and Jim thanks for your replies.

Unfortunately Trio now no longer exists as TrioSport and consequently the websites are no longer available. Now under the banner of Triango and based solely in France. Apparently now very difficult to obtain information and spare parts!! Typical French?

Thanks for your great instructions Jim. Had chance to play around, see what you mean, our DWT full awning is much simpler to erect!! Only benefit is less canvas to dry in the spare room I suppose.

Regards Julian
