Tripod for Sat Dish

I need a tripod for my Satellite Dish. It is not always possible to get a South facing pitch to mount the dish on an A-frame rig. Can anyone recommend a particular tripod model? A search of the web comes up with a varied selection.

The Maxview one is very good as you can rotate the pole after clamping the dish.

Its important to get one that enables easy smooth movement and also to ensure that the pole is vertical

Road Pro also do one (I have one) that has a spirit level and compass bearing marked on it.

I modified mine to make the legs extendable for easy levelling
 
Buy a cheap rotary clothes line, Remove the washing line, turn upside down and you have a good tripod. I think Lidl are selling one about now. Nigel
