Trivia Question

I have ended up in a discussion with a neighbour and the strength of a pint of BB rests on the answer. I am trying to remember a TV comedy series I think from the early 1970s whereby a family man when nagged by his wife and children would disappear to the greenhouse where he had a deck chair, cardboard box of wine and his pipe and tobacco. He would often be joined by his neighbour. Can any one recall the name of the series and possibly the names of the actor/actress who played the parents.

I do rememer the series Colin but can't remember what it was called.

Look at this list and see if any of the programmes listed jog your memory.

Colin,

I think you will find it was called " No Place Like Home".

The main actor was William Gaunt with a young Martin Clunes.

They drank sherry in the greenhouse.
