Truma heating S3002 (P)

2002 Swift.
The electric heating has a mind of its own.
When switched on there are lots of clicking noise and it may start heating.
Other times it will heat then stop and not come on again can't get constant heating. Is this thermostats or PCB board

At the age of your heater it could be one of several things.

First of all is there a remote thermostat fitted? if there is it will be piggybacked to the gas thermostat at the front bottom left of the fire just behind the front cover.

If there is not one, that would be the first thing to fit as the normal thermostat is incorporated into the control switch and is known to be a problem.

Secondly it my be one or the two temperature sensors on the control box behind the fire.
