Truma Mover

I have a problem with my Truma S mover (Manual) I switch on the handset and then the mover engages and it moves the van about 1/2 a metre and then stops, the handset bleeps for anything up to a minute and the process starts again, engage, move 1/2 a metre, stop and long series of bleeps? Very frustrating and running my battery down. Any Ideas?
 
I have a truma on a twin axle full automatic though but a couple of weeks ago had a similar problem kept losing signal and caravan wouldn't move.

Changed the batteries in the handset and everything was ok (Hope this is of help)

Sorry, I'm late! Yes that did cure it. I had given that a thought and indeed replaced the batteries but they must have been old ones, the fresh ones from Tesco did the trick. Thanks.
 
Glad you got it sorted

I purchased a small battery charger and a set of rechargable batteries so now I have a set always charged in the caravan just in case
