Truma Regulator

Hi All, my van is in the garden at home, I plugged my barby in to the external gas outlet and used the barby with no problem at all, the next day we decided to have another barby and invited the in-laws plus grand kids and guess what? no gas coming out of the outlet. Changed bottle (although the first gas bottle was almost full) and still no gas. Needless to say the food was cooked in doors so all was not lost.
The next day I tried again and to my dismay, gas came out of the outlet.
I have checked for any kind of residue in the hoses and they seem absolutely clean and dry, could it be an intermittent fault on the regulator?
My van is 2008 and the reg is fitted on the bukhead slightly above the top of the bottle.

You should try lighting the appliances one by one. Start with the cooker hob. Light one ring then another then another. As more gas is called for, the flames will get lower on all burning rings if the reg is suspect. Should all rings burn correctly without and fluctuation, then it is unlikely that the reg is at fault. I would consider changing the Truma (Gok) reg to a Clesse 30Mbar reg should it be faulty.

Hi, the service engineer tested the regulator and it was found to be faulty, so bought a Clesse one complete with stainless hose and a 5 year warranty.
During the service it was pointed out to me that the front window needed to be replaced because the seperate sheets of plastic had been touching due to air pressure. I'm pleased to say at no cost to me.
