Truma Ultraflow problem

I have a Lunar Ultima 524, with a Truma Ultraflow water system.

It's working fine generally, but there seems to be a problem with the pressure switch mounted under the bed-box.

When the pump is being used with the battery charger switched off, alll is fine. Once the charger is turned n however, once a tap is turned off the pressure switch "clicks" loudly for 3 - 8 seconds, and the 12v lights in the van flicker in sync.

Anyone had any experience of this?

Thanks,
Lee.

It's "normal" in the sense that the pressure switch is sensitive to voltage and really needs different settings for 14.4v smart charging / 13.8v power supply / 13.0v smart fully charged / 12.8v fully charged off EHU down to 12.0v discharged - it's a PITA !!
Try adjusting the switch so it doesn't "flutter" when off EHU - or invest in an electronic pressure switch.

Have a look at

I got fed up of the Whale switch back in 2000 and my feelings still haven't changed. As we do a lot of mixed EHU or non-EHU, the position of the whale pressure switch is a pain in the a**e
Also when the Whale was chattering, it used to knock out the ceiling LEDs.
