Hi Everyone.

On the side of my van i have a Truma Ultraflow water inlet but i want to bring water into the van directly from the mains water tap on the caravan parks.

Does Truma do something similar to the Whale Aquasource which has the long blue flat roll out hose and if so could someone either give me a link to them on ebay/gumtree or let me know the name of what i am looking for.

I have the Truma Ultraflow short hose with the Ultraflow connector which looks like a small gun which goes into the outlet but this looks like the one with the filter on the other end that drops into a water roller but i need the long blue flat hose with the Ultraflow connector.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Is this what you are after?

Most dealers keep them, not sure about Oz though.
Personally I do have one but have never used it. I never had the confidence the caravan plumbing could withstand constant mains water pressure :woohoo:

The other alternative is the adapter that has hose and a small ballcock that replaces the side cap on the aquaroll. About £20. So the van takes in from the aquaroll as usual and this is automatically refilled as the level drops. Searching the item on ebay will bring up several alternatives.

Hi Dustydog. Yes thats the gizmo that i am after.

I have now found out that all i need is the inline pressure reducer as i already have the pistol end that goes into the van and i have the whale blue type flat hose so that i can put the pressure reducer on in line.

Have contacted Truma to see if they sell just the pressure reducer as that would be far cheaper to post out to me in Aus than with 15mtrs of blue hose.

But i have a funny feeling it all comes as a complete package.

Pressure reducers have been known to fail resulting in the van being flooded. Dusty's solution removes the risk.

Turning the water tap off whilst away from the caravan will elevate concerns. Having a caravan with components that don't absorb water is another option. :p

As we found at Cheddar last year, 'what's that noise' say I, 'what noise?' ask MrsP, that rushing water noise as the sink in the washroom overflowed due to the tap not being turned off last time out after draining things down. A waterhog of water over the floor, but nothing to absorb the water, so no damage done :p :p

Have now found a solution to my connection problem.

As i already have the Whale Aquasource which has 10mtrs of blue flat hose with water pressure reducer built into the square plug in section all i have to purchase is the Whale Aquascource to Truma Ultraflow adaptor which twist locks into the Aquascource then plugs into Truma housing on the van........job sorted.
