truma ultraheat model s3002

the 230v electric heating has ceased to work in my 2002 avondale caravan, the gas side works fine,as does the fan.there is mains current to the plug behind the heater and when i turn up the wall thermostat, there is a click as the stat clicks in.the green light is on but still no heat from either of the heat settings on the wall switch.has any one else suffered this problem?

Ken almost certainly the element control PCB at the back of the heater is dud there are 3 relays on this pcb which on the early models are rated at 10 amps these relays operated hence the clicking noise you hear but the contacts burnout!

You can buy a new PCB with the later 16amp rated relays.

Or if you have a local good electrician it is posible to replace the 3 relays on the pcb at a cost of about

thanks glenn,

the parts needed to repair the pcb,are they easily obtainable?

when you say an electrian,do you mean someone who can repair tv,s and computers, circuit boards etc,or a electrian who wires houses? thanks
