Truma Ultrastore, no hot water when on

Truma Ultrastore, no hot water when on

20 Sep 2007 12:39 PM

When trying out my Truma Ultrastore water heater, fitted to an ACE Jubilee on gas, the water does not heat up. There is no sign if any fault as the red fault light does not come on. The gas supply is OK along with the 12 V supply and I have checked the fuse on the heater. I would have expected I would be able to tell if there was ignition by the fact there would be exhaust fumes coming from the outlet.

Am I missing something in the lighting procedure? Any thoughts would be appreciated

Diane, When you switch the control switch to the on position is a click heard from the heater a few seconds later and does the green indicator lamp stay on?

Have you removed the flue plate? You will not see fumes but you will feel heatif you put your hand close to it.
