Hi I have A Truma Ultrastore fitted to my Abbey GTS Vogue 417 and was wondering if it would cause the water heater any harm if I was to leave it on continuously with the electric only heating so there is always hot water. Any views welcome. Thanks Darren.
When I am on electric hook up (10 or 16 amp) I always leave mine on, it should cut out on the thermostat when the temperature reaches 70o C. I have not had a problem with mine.
Like Paul & Jim, I've always used mains hot water heating continuously without any problems. One point to note is that the variable thermostat only affects the gas water heating, electric water heating has a fixed thermostat set to 70 degrees.
