Truma water heater

I am just getting my 2004 Avondale Dart ready for the season after barely using it last year. Unsurprisingly I have encountered a few small issues such as a very wet storage box but now I'm down to just one problem.
I have plugged the electric in to the house and the fridge, heater and lights all work but every time I turn on the water heater it trips the electric. Any ideas on what the problem may be? And if you feel the heater may be knackered, how much should it cost?
Thanks Jo

Yeah, we connected the aqua roll to it and had to buy a new pump as that was only working intermittently.

If the water heater had water in it when you switched on th emains power, it should have been ok.
As it trips the electric it is most likely the heating element has failed and needs replacing.

Get a mobile engineer to do the job for you.
The new heater element is about the £50 mark
