Truma Water Heater

Hi

Am I missing something here, on our 2005 Crusader there is a control switch on/off and thermostat to use the heater on gas now thats fine but when connected to mains and water the electric heats the water which is fine, but how do I turn the electic off to stop it heating if I want to leave the van unattended for a few days.

Cheers

Brian

Dont know about the Elddis but on my Ace you have to switch it off at the distribution board/fusebox.

I have 4 red illuminated switches and one of these is the water heater. I always turn mine off before draining the water system to prevent the water heater element tripping.

All the information should be shown on the 240v electric circuit in your handbook.

On Lunar vans they have a fused mains switch Labelled "Ultrastore" we just turn this off. Another switch for the main operation of the fire is mounted by the side of this switch labelled "Utraheat"
