Trying to find....

I have recently been reading a thread here which gave the contact details for a few vets in Northern France. However, I can't find it using the search facility, which probably means that it started life as a thread about something different. Has anyone else seen it and can point me to the right place? When I say recently, I think it was in the past few weeks, but for we retirees days and dates are just a blur!!

I don't know the thread you mention, but whereabouts are you looking for a vet? If you're camping then ten to one the campsite will have a list of recommended vets, and you can email them to ask the question. If not, if you give a location then someone may know a specific vet in that area.

Wherever I am, I usually go to Google maps and in the question space line enter "vets near Wherever" and a list appears at the side of the location panel.

Thanks for all your help. I still haven't found the thread I was looking for, but have others which give some of (I think) the same information. As our plans are very fluid, I think I will take the advice to find a vet when we get near to the Channel Ports.

Now that there is a longer time window between treatment and embarkation we tend to use vets en route back to the Channel Ports. They are cheaper and don't tend to get quite so booked up as those adjacent to campsites near ferries. There is also no manic drive north now which we never did anyway. Near Eperleque there is Dr Janus Paulus and another one in St Omer.
