Tummel Valley Holiday Park (Scotland)

Has anyone visited this park near Pitlochry, we are due to go in August and wondered if anyone has any experiences of this site.

Hi Trudy

We have been there, although it was about 10 years ago. I understand there are a lot more pitches, both static and touring now than we were visited. It was in our pre-touring days and we stayed in a static.

From what I can remember the site was pretty good, not overly commercial although the main entertainment area was on the small side.

The only thing we didn't really like about it was that all pitches were on the other side of the road from the centre, and although the road was quiet we didn't want to risk our two young nieces who were with us crossing the road on their own.

Also, because it is situated in a rural area beside a river, it is a fair drive into the town of Pitlochry.

The site is owned by Parkdean holidays who I have never had a bad experience with and the area was very beautiful (you must visit Queens View) and the people are very friendly.

Anita
