TV aerial (to drill or not to drill)

Hi, We have just bought our first caravan. On getting familiar with the fixture and fittings we have found that out inside aerial cable is not fixed to an aerial.

We would be greatfull if anyone could advise us which is the best place to position an outside aerial and where to bring the cable in as the thought of drilling through the roof is some what scary lol

Any advice would be much appriciated.

Hi Ted ,I am sure you will get loads of replies to this .

Firstly, is your van fitted with Staus aerial on the roof ?

If not you can fit an ordinary T>V> aerial to a light weight mast and fit it either with a bracket to the A frame or your jockey wheel.

Brackets available from your caravan dealer or Towsure

I do hope this helps old chap

Regards Sir Roger.

Hi Ted

has your van got an aerial fitted on the roof? If not then you would probably be better getting an aerial that fits to the jockey wheel or even a satelite dish
