Have purchased a Sharp TFS TV. Does not seem to like Status aerial fitted to van. Anyone else experienced similar and had to go for directional aerial? Have checked all fittings on Status ae.
 
Yes we and lots more have found far better reception in poor areas with a directionalaerial.I have to say that our Status has improved a lot since I used thicker cable to the 12V supply
 
Often if you have problems with Status ther connections are poor (if any part od the outer wire touches the inner you will get a poor signal.

You will find many others using a normal directional aerial. Get a chep one and you will find it is good.
