Tv Interferance.

We have changed our van to a Eldiss Avante 505 when i plug our lcd tv in there seems to be interferance,it tunes in ok but we get horizontal snowing across the screen running from right to left,i have tied pulling various fuses to try to pinpoint what it is,has anyone come across this before and can i buy a type of suppresor to help,ta

andrew.

Have you got this interference when the van is connected to the mains and have you got a battery connected? Try running the TV from the van battery with the mains disconnected. If the interference stops then you've probably got a problem with the van's on-board charger.

Hi Dave i have got a battery fitted, the tv plugs into the 240v plug then through a converter to drop it to 12v but i have not got a 12v plug with it so if i disconnect the mains the tv goes off,i have the van at home so i could connect the tv to a extention from the house then pull fuse on charger and see what happens, will try today and let you know ta andrew.
