tv reception at cirencester park

hi, we're off to the park on fri, and wondered allthough you can get freeview there , we still got our old portable from the house as digital doesnt reach the backwaters in our part of wales till 2010. can you still get analogue reception there ? thanks . brian

Hi Brian, The analogue signal switch off date for the Cirencester transmitter is the same as yours 2010 so yes you will still get a signal, a booster signal is available on the bollards on the site.

hi , jasper , thanks for that and the link, it was a big help, now i'll have to find someone to wind up that 25 year old tele. any tele engineer will tell you that the innards of the old teles were more superior than the latest ones, we had a super picture in brecon off our status ariel. brian
