Twin electrics

Hiya everyone, i have single electrics on me car at the mo and i've been looking at swapping them for double electric so i can run my fridge why towing or for checking the electrics. I know swapping the electric's for the rear lights will be straight forward but is it pretty easy to wire the 12v side in too or is there an easier way to do all this, thanks

As you have alreeady electrics for thr lights I assume you have a 12N socket. You will need a 12S socket and wiring harness. Towsure etc will supply all you need. You will probably need a relay to activate the fridge supply as well. The main possible issue is getting a good 12 volt supply and normally a heavy duty cable is run direct from the battery to the boot to ensure this. Tapping into the wiring loom is not normally enough to take a fridge at 10 amps.

The CC and C&CC have wiring diagrams on their web pages.
