Type of connector and how to replace (shower)

Hi

New to the caravan game, first trip away (although good few years of VW camper trips behind us).

We have a 2022 Adria Adora Sava and for the last few days have noticed every 15 mins then whale water pump and pressure switch randomly coming on. Searched on the forum and everyone suggested a leak but couldnt see / find anything obvious.

Then, water started slowly seeping out from under the shower and rolling into the bathroom ! Spent the day doing various checks and having removed the back of the shower casing and then turned the water pump on discovered that this connector is leaking and looks to be the culprit.

Done a quick search online but can't find what type of connector it is - can anyone advise ? Also, how do they come off and get replaced ? An easy job or not?

If not easy then I can look to get it done when home - is there a way to isolate the shower in this type of van so I can leave the water pump on for the kitchen and toilet (excel shower).

Many thanks in advance.

Try pushing the two pipes firmly into the fitting, and then tug them out, that might reseat them.
If it doesn't then the fittings are pretty standard (but not domestic) and obtainable from any half decent caravan dealer.

If they are the same as UK vans they will be 12mm of pipes. As above, you push the white ring down to release the grip. I think yours ha an extra security, and the black circlip needs removing first.

Caravan shops will have straight 12mm couplers.

You should also use infills to reinforce the pipes.

They may have been missed out on your original fittings.

If you can, cut half an inch off all pipe ends.
