just gone to renew the tyres on the van only to find the handbook and tyres fitted are different it's a bailey ranger 470/4 2004 the tyrwes fitted are 185/65 r14 but the handbook says 185 r14 which makes them a bigger tyre (cheeper but poss to big for the van) has anyone else come across this i rang the local bailey dealer and he looked it up and he said all rangers come on the /65

Actually there is a 185 R14, it has a 102 load index so an 8ply commercial tyre I would think.

It can be taken the aspect ration is 80% and that makes it 28mm bigger on the radius than a 185/65 and giving the same difference to ride height!!

It would also need this extra clearance above to clear the wheel arch on full deflection, I would then advise ringing Bailey for their comment.
