The current Michelin range is the Agilas Camping tyre. These are built in batches and thus there will be times when they are unavailable. Last year it took 6 weeks from order to delivery for my replacement tyres.
I am surprised yours need replacing at 30,000 miles. Michelin tyres on motorhomes usually start degrading after 7 years and can last up to 10 years rather than wear out on tread. My last van did 42,000 miles on one set, my current van did 35,000 and had only used half the tread in 7 years. Might be worth thinking about why they have worn so quickly.
As to camper vs ordinary van tyres, I doubt you will get consensus. There are people who think camping tyres are a rip off, and there are others who think they are worth the extra money for the better tyre. Even tyre fitters seem to have different opinions. I'm no expert but when assessing the cost, I thought the extra cost spread over the life of the tyres was not worth worrying about compared to that feeling I might not be properly shod. I may be the gullible one beloved my tyre manufacturers!
Vanco are an alternative to Michelin. They do a camper version. You see more and more new vans shod with Vanco camper tyres - especially German marques.
